Summary of
events for the last month. Posted 14/6/2001
Here is a short summary of events during the last
month:
Israel:
A suicide bomber killed himself and 20 Israeli teenagers
in a discotheque in Tel-Aviv.
Yasser Arafat, under huge international pressure released
a statement calling for a cease fire. Israel agreed to delay it's
military response to the massive terror attacks and to see if Arafat
is serious. IDF official's belive that Arafat's statement is a trick
to lower the pressure upon him.
Israel accepted the Tenat proposal. Arafat agreed
too. Israel still belives that it's a trick but agrees to wait and
see if Arafat is serious
Events:
Most of the tests are over.
Ezrachut bagrut went well.
Irgun Kvatsim was a disaster. Thanks to our amazing
teacher Yaron, we were not ready for the test. We all hope for the
best.
One more test is left - Itzuv Tochna which will be
held next week.
Six soccer games were played during the last month.
The games score is corrently a 3-3 tie between Arik
and Ben's team and Roy and Ziva's team.
Tseska Pituach - featuring the Herzliya Pituach basketball
all stars: Amir Buksoum, Doron Ravid, Lior Ziv and Arik Liderman
played against Maccabi "Shhunot" Herzelia featuring the
down-town Herzliya all stars: Offer Shoostak, Guy Fruchtman, Itamar
Berger and Dor Ben-Yossef. The final game score was 34:20 to the
Tseka Pituach all-star team. Tseska Pituach won the Herzliya Liga
Gimel basketball cup!
Arik Ben and Doron visited the 'Pacha' discotheque
in Tel-Aviv - one week before a suicide bomber exploded in the same
place.
Ben can now drive alone, without his parents and so
a new car was added to the Cre8 armada: "Shebby" (Chevrolet)
joined the "Racer" (Pegout).
Eyal recieved a driving lisence after passing his
second test. Soon the Niva will join Cre8's car armada.
Amir, Arik, Fruchtman and Ziva visited the Shvua Ha-Seffer
week. Arik and Fruchtman bought two books. Amir and Ziva didn't
find any intresting books.
Cre8 news:
No progress was made due to the test period.
