Operation 'Defensive
wall' continues / Party ends with a mix reaction. Posted 1/4/2002
We are in a middle of a war, a war over our homes,
a war against terror.
Two days ago, following 3 deadly terror attacks which
left more then 35 Israelis dead and more then 160 injured our government
issued an order to the IDF to begin a massive operation to destroy
terror where ever it is.
This time Israel is serious in destroying terror.
No more restraint and faint messages, we can not live
any longer in this horrific terror inviournment.
Yasser Arafat launched an all out terror war against
the people of Israel in order to achieve what he failed to achieve
in direct negotioations.
He is trying to terrorize the people of Israel and
make them give up on everything and meet all the Palestinian demends.
Israel will not negotiate or give up land under fire
and undrer terror.

We waited so long for this operation and two days
ago the order finally came.
Operation 'Defensive Wall' was finally launched by
the IDF.
As part of the operation, the IDF begun calling reserve
soldiers back to active duty.
This action was taken sevral times before: 1948 (Independace
war), 1956 (Sinnai war), 1967 (six-day war), 1973 (Yom Kipur war)
and 1982 (Lebanon war).
The IDF called until now 21.000 reserve soldiers back
into active duty and it plans to call 5000 additional troops in
the near fututre.
OPERATION SUMMARY:
* IDF forces entered Ramalla early Friday and broke
into Arafat's compound.
In there IDF forces amazingly found about 400 illieagal
weapons and arrested more then 70 wanted terrorists.
It is believed that 40-50 wanted terrorists are still
hiding inside Arafat's office and are under his protection.
IDF forces also arrested about 500 people for questioning
and found among them 30 wanted terrorists, the rest were released.
IDF forces are searching every house and every street
for wanted terrorists, illeagal wapons and bomb factories.
* Yesterday night (Sunday) IDF forces entered into
Qualquiliya.
Their mission in Qualquiliya will be the same as in
Ramalla.
* IDF forces entered the town of Beith-Jalla in order
to stop mortar attacks on the neighborhood of Gilo inside Jerusalem.
* IDF forces continue to round-up all around the west-bank.
Reserve and active soldiers were seen around Beith-Lehem,
Tul-Karem, Hebron, Shem and servral other villages in the west-bank.

TERROR attacks continued all around the country.
These horrific and barbaric attacks disrupted normal
life almost in every home in Israel.
Friday:
A suicide bomber exploded inside a super-market in
Jerusalem killing a young woman (18) and another inocent civillian.
Saturday night:
A suicide bomber exploded inside a polular Tel-Aviv
cafe on Alenbi st. (an area regullary visited by me and my friends)
32 people were injured, one young girl is in critical
condition.
Sunday:
A suicide bomber exploded inside a popular resteraunt
in Haifa.
14 people were killed, among the dead 2 families (father
and his two sons (15 and 18 years old), and a mother, father and
thier daughter) and more then 50 were injured, 8 in critical condition.
Later a suicide bomber exploded inside a Ma"da
(Israel's emergency medical service) ambulance garage.
8 people were wounded, 1 doctor is in critical condition.
Israel has no choice but to fight terror with everything
it got.

The big party on Saturday night ended with mixed feelings.
Terror was all around us and more then 30 people who
promised to come didn't arrive due to their parents decision to
keep them home.
About 30 people did arrive.
We had a cool DJ from the Enigma club and alot of
food and drinks.
The party ended at about 3:00am.
The party itself wasen't exciting and again this was
because alot of people didn't come due to security reasons.
The good part was that after the party I went with
two friends of myne (Lina and Shuly) to eat and we had alot of good
time.
I hope and pray that these horrific terror attacks
will end as soon as possible.
