The Pesah vacation
comes to an end / full summary. Posted 6/4/2002
Our last school-time vacation comes to an end.
On Sunday regular school study will resume.
We will study for about two more weeks and then school
will come to an end.
It's time to prepare all the books once again and
return to the regular school-time schedule.
----
So, how was the vacation?!
It was a good vacation, not the best I can recall
but nevertheless I had alot of good time.
I personally organized a party at my house, and Nadav,
Fruchtman, Franky and myself organized a party at Nadav's house.
The party at my house was a big success and the party
at Nadav's house ended with mixed reactions.
Although not alot of people showed to Nadav's place
(alot of reasons but mainly due to the terror attacks which took
place that day) I enjoyed the compony and had alot of good time.
In addition, I drank by mistake a combination of Taquila,
Vodka and an orange joice which gave me a bad headaque for the rest
of that night.
In addition to the parties we spent alot of night's
at people's houses and played pocker, snuker and ping-pong.
These events pruved to be very enjoyable.
We also toured Herzliya and the area and went to eat
at Burgus and Agadir (commercial zone).
I also went out with Itamar, Samech, Chen Nir and
Dor a couple of times.
These were, as you probably guess, CRAZY and WIERD
experiences but I enjoyed every minute of them!!
On one occasion me and Samech stopped the Racer Turbo
near a bucnh of people, got out of the car and begun break-dancing.
This of-course occured in the middle of the night.
We played sevral basketball games, and me Chen and
Ziva returned to the gym after a two week break.
----
During this vacation we faced alot of problems and
questions.
The main question was: what else can we do as a group?
We did encounter some problems with communications
and I wount deny the fact that we had some argues and fights inside
the group.
Thankfuly the argues ended with no serious problems
and most of the times we had a happy end.
The other disturbing problem we encountered was the
reality outside.
Terror attacks kept on coming and inocent people,
alot of them teenagers died during these attacks.
The reality we faced was very grim.
There was no safe place for us to go and evrery time
we wanted to do something we asked ourselves the question: 'is it
safe?' or 'how many terror attacks occured in that specific area?'
in addition, our parents worried alot and asked us time after time
not to go and stay home.
These were very serious problems but we overcame them
all.
I personally feel good about the last two weeks.
I think we achieved alot.
Of-course it wasen't perfect and there is ALOT of
room for impruvment, but no-body is perfect and we did achieve alot.
