Preparing for the IDF, witnessing the horor / Two days without Cre8. Posted 12/9/2001

Yesterday, me and my class went to a preparation day for the army in an army base somewhere near the coastal city of Netaniya.

In this day we heard a lecture and underwent sports activities in preperation for our army service which will begin in less then a year.

One of the funnest parts of the day was the find the spot activity.

In this activity we recieved airplane photos of the base and our guide marked spots on our maps. Our mission was to find these spots and to report what is written on them.

This activity took over an hour as we ran across the base - walking almost 5KM until we found all the spots.

We were preparing for the night activities when suddenly everything stopped.

We recieved a word of an horrible attack on the U.S.

Everyone ran to the nearest T.V station in the base and all activities stopped.

Everyone were shocked when we saw the burning NYC. It was unbelivable.

We seen alot of terror in our small country but in our darkest nightmares we have never belived that terror can be that strong.

After an hour we returned home without finnishing our night activities. Noone wanted to continue, we just wanted to go back home and to watch T.V.

The disaster in the U.S. continues as rescue crews are searching for survivors.

I hope that everyone we know over there are okey.

Me, Amir and Fruchtman are trying to find out if everything is okey with our friends in the U.S.

Two years ago we went to the U.S. for a 12 day visit. We were hosted there by American students.

I hope that everything is okey there and I pray that there will be survivors.

Two days ago Cre8 has come to an end.

The former Cre8 members miss Cre8 very much. Only two days have passed since the end of Cre8 and we already begun to miss Cre8 meetings.

Arik Liderman who was Cre8's CEO is now engaged in a new start up effort.

The details about this new project will be revealed soon.
