What cars, when, and how much money will I have?!
- It's about time to answer these questions!
ANN's exclusive and extensive report on the cars and
open options which will finally create the new "Racer Turbo"!

First of all, how much money will I have?!
This question is still not answered.
The ammount of money I will have moves between 30.000Nis
- 70.000Nis.
Every day the ammount changes - sometimes travels
upwords, sometimes falls abit - but generally it is now in the upper
40's.
If I will get about 45-50.000Nis this would mean that
I will be able to buy a used car with about 40.000Nis neto and the
other 5-10 will go on insurance and new equipment.
I'm continuing my debate on this issue with my mother.

What cars?!
In 40.000Nis I would be able to buy sevral used cars.
First of all, my mother insists that the car would
be automatic and small in size.
Second, it should be from the years 1996-1998, and
it has to have a low kilometraz.
So, what are the open options?
The cars that match these creterions are:
----Volkswagen Polo----
The good: A good and reliable car. It also looks nice.
The bad: Extremly hard to find an automatic version
of these years. Most of them have a manual gearbox.
Year of production: 1996-1997
Available options: 1996-1997 - 1100cc, 1400cc Automatic

----Opel Corsa----
The good: A very reliable car. Has strong engines.
The bad: In my opinion it looks quite ugly..
Year of production: 1996-1998
Available options: 1400cc automatic 1996-1997, 1200cc
16V automatic 1998.

The reality is alot worse! (from the outside) - maby
it's the color?!, in Israel most of them are wite..

The good: It looks like a big mean monster! the looks
are increadible! Also - the car has a MONSTER engine. 1600cc is
the basic.
The bad: According to what I read and heard: NOT reliable.
Alot of small and major malfunctions.

Available options: 1600cc automatic 1996-1997.

----Hyundai Accent----
The good: Hmmm.. nothing I guess - It's an average
car..
The bad: Hmmm.. nothing I guess - It's an average
car.. O and my mother hates it (don't ask me why) - It's also very
slow!
Available options: 1500cc automatic - 1997/1998, 1300cc
automatic - 1999.

Maby a bit big?
Another 'maby' option I am checking is Opel Astra
- it's a bit big (I LOVE IT!!) it's very strong and reliable. Trying
to convice my mother to check it out.
